Sarah was born and raised in the wonderous lakeside town of Kirkland, WA. There she spent her formative years as the funny chubby girl with glasses. More of an "indoor" kid, she usually wasted away her recess time in the computer lab, fine-tuning her pioneering skills while playing "Oregon Trail" or becoming more aware of her ineptitude at math playing "Math Man."
After sulking her way through high school, writing for the school newspaper and laughing at people during pep assemblies, Sarah moved onto Bellevue Community College where instead of taking all the classes she’d need to get her AA, she instead just took all the radio classes and got a job at a radio station that played music only her parents loved, Smooth Jazz.
In April of 2006, in an act of desperation for some sunlight, Sarah sold most of her belongings, packed what was left into her shitty Ford Focus and moved to Southern California.
She currently works several part time jobs or as she likes to say "I’m living the dream" and will embarass herself without forethought at any given moment if it means she’ll get a laugh.
She continues to battle many addictions including (but most definitely NOT limited to) the following:
~Reality TV
~Making bad decisions ( have you SEEN her tattoos?)
~Hanging out with the wrong crowd (this particular issue was originally diagnosed by a 3rd grade teacher after a particularly dramatic recess squabble)

You should know that I absolutely LOVE my life. I have a fantastic family, friends and am amazed daily at how lucky I am to have everything that I do. I just moved back to Seattle from Orange County, CA after 2.5 years of total awesomeness. When I went down there, I wished I was invisible. Now I want everyone to see me. Everyone. Yes, you.
I love to write..be it blogs, short stories, journal entries, sketch comedy, obituaries, whatever. Luckily, words flow from my mind to the paper fairly easily, so I run with it. I have developed a nasty habit of hating misspellings and bad grammar. It is almost debilitating. I know I'm not perfect, but if you can't spell, there is a good chance I just won't read what you have to say. On that same note, if YOU can't understand people who are horrible at math, then you'll most definitely hate me.
I try to surround myself with hilarious people. I love to make people laugh and I love being around people who can bring that out of me as well. I perform stand-up comedy as much as I can. It's a symbiotic (COLLEGE WORD!) relationship wherein I gain a HUGE sense of happiness from the crowd while I do my best to make them laugh at the same time. Your laughter is my only compensation.
I LOVE music. I love listening to it, watching it and reading about it. I've seen over 500 bands live and while that has slowed down since I got...what's that called again? Oh, responsibilities...and bills. I still love to catch a show and I LOVE talking about it with other people.
I also pay close attention to pop culture. If you are of the "Kill Your Television" mindset, please continue your search for meaning elsewhere. I'm busy watching Celebreality.
