My Interests include, but are not limited to Reading novels and hopefully someday writing them, Drawing, Playing video games and collecting video games and video game related items, which ,incidentally, is exceedingly difficult when your a member of the Lower-Lower class Elite. I also enjoy Writing and drawing my own Comic books as well as reading and collecting the comic book literature of others. I also enjoy movies and Television shows. I have pretty bad tastes too because something really has to suck big-time in order for me not to like it, Or maybe the rest of the world is just too critical. I like that second one, i'll go with that.
Well, I would say that i listen to a little bit of everything, But in Sociology class it was said that if someone says they like everything it means they don't really like anything......or something like that:P
Anyway, I'll just say i like a little bit of everything. I've got a rap song on my PSP, but its really just Rock and Country. My "likes" are really on a song-by-song basis.
But i like alot of songs by Bon Jovi and Nickelback, But I think my favorite band would have to be The Offspring. And i also just discovered the song "Blow Me Away" from the Halo2 soundtrack so i'm definetly gonna look into what else might be on there.
Well, i'm a big movie buff, but if i had to choose, and apperently i do, I would have to say my Favorite movies are "SIX-STRING SAMURAI" (which is not a B-Movie i don't care what my brother says. Its an Independent film.),"KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE" (An absolute must-see), "ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES" (C'mon, its about killer tomatoes),and "NAPOLEAN DYNAMITE" (ironically, my wife hates this movie for all the reasons i love it. weird, huh?)
Plus any movies to contain the words "Body snatcher" or "Living Dead" is also gonna be considered to be completely awesome by myself.
Television?! Where do i begin? First off let me start off by saying that i do not have a problem. I can quit anytime i want.....as long as i'm back in time for the Fall season. That being said:
Mondays: Heroes,The Bionic Woman, The Big Bang Theory, CSI:Miami
Tuesdays:Dead Like me,and Eureka
Wednesdays:CSI:NY
Thursdays:Smallville, and Who-Wants-To-Be-A-Superhero?(when its on)
Fridays:Dr.Who, Painkiller Jane, and Flash Gordon.
Saturdays: Batman, Legion of Superheroes, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo get a clue, and Johnny Test.
Misc. Shows (that i can't watch regularly because of schedule conflicts.......Yes, i do actually leave my house.) include Torchwood, anything with "Star Trek" in the title, CSI(original), and the entire G4 and Cartoon networks.

Books
I've just started the "Dark Tower" series, so i'm gonna go ahead and put that up here cuz there is no way thats not going to be awesome, I've also read the Original "War of the Worlds" and the updated "War of the Worlds: the new millenium" (which is just a retelling of the original from a contemporary viewpoint),"The Holy Bible" of course (although, i don't think i've ever read the WHOLE thing before....unless tapes and MP3s count, even so i don't know)"Animal Farm" (probrably one of my favorite books of all time) and "The Best of H.P.Lovecraft" ,a collection of stories by Lovecraft, mostly short stories, which are ALL completly incredible. So really anything written by H.P.Lovecraft is gonna be a favorite. But my Favorite Lovecraft story is without a doubt "A Shadow out of Time."
I guess my biggest hero, and the inspiration behind all superheroes is Jesus Christ. Everyone else, obviously, comes in second.
And those would include My Dad(Ruben Rodriguez), Kent Hovind(who taught me that truth really can be stranger than fiction), and Jack Chick (who, in my opinion, is the christian comics equivalent of Stan Lee.)
Fictional Characters i would like to put in this category are Spider-Man and Superman.

About me: About me, hmmmm...................Well, First of all my name is Anthony Rodriguez, but since your reading this you probrably already know that. But let me tell you some things about my own personal self that you probrably don't know. For instance I'm married and i have 3 children. Yup, its true. My wifes name is Alanaque and she was born and bred south of the Mason-Dixon line. I know, a proud Yankee and an unrepentent Reb (thats right, i said it), you wouldn't think it would work, but we're going on eight years at the time of my writing this and i never even think about leaving her (because she can hear what i'm thinking and requires that i constantly think happy thoughts.....but its good that she does that........real, real good.) My three children are Justin, Kaitlynn, and Taimie and they're all beautiful. Justin and Kaitlynn mostly because they don't have my flawed chromosomes swimming around in their DNA, and Taimie, fortunatly, only looks slightly like me. We're praying she grows out of it.:)____
Currently i am going to school to pursue some kind of degree in Business and i'm also planning to study computers. Not my first choices but unfortunatly Paris Junior College doesn't offer courses in "Millionaire comic book illustrator" or "Millionaire Video game designer", believe me, i looked. I'm also riddled with guilt and regret for not having gone to college right after High School, *Yay* or at least joined the Military. Think about it, I could be in Iraq right now.....*sigh*.__
I was born in 1979 in Brooklynn, New York, but my parents moved us down to Greenville, Texas. They say it was to get us away from the gangs but i think it was because there are just not enough Puerto Ricans in Texas. They're all in New York! Somebody explain that one to me. We somehow bypassed an entire continent!.........Oh, I'm Puerto Rican, by the way. Don't know if i mentioned that.__ I'm also a saved Child of God. I believe i was saved when i was about 7 yrs old. I'm not sure about the date, but i can remember the day it happened.
I'm also a big Gamer and comic book nerd, and i'm okay with that.:)___
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet all my heroes from the "Heroes" section, except for my Dad who i have, in fact, met.....cuz, y'know....he raised me. I'd also like to meet all the great people i've met on the internet from all the forums and networking sites. They seem like a great bunch of people and if i can ever make it to a comic book convention i might be able to actually meet them. Speaking of which, i'd like to meet some of my big influences from the comic industry like Stan Lee, Mark Millar, Skottie Young, Ben Caldwell, Chris Bachalo, and Mike Mignola. And lastly but not....leastly(?) i'd like to meet Allison Mack, who plays "Chloe" on Smallville, and Ellen Muth who plays Georgia Lass on "Dead like me", a great and underrated tv series.

HELP US FLY THE FLAG FOR AUSTRALIAN CHRISTIAN ROCK MUSIC!
HA! I was going through my comments and you left me one at the end of October saying you were in Paris. Did you like it? I LOVE IT! I have been twice, but I was a child, so would love to go back as an adult. Better start saving those pennies. Hope you had a WONDERFUL Christmas!
I edit video for the 4p,5p,6p, and 10p newscasts. Well, not by myself, unless I'm doing the 5. I have a degree in Broadcast Journalism. I don't have a desire to be in front of the camera, unless it is working for the Travel Channel, or something like that. I have gotten to do lots of cool things with my job, and seen lots. I worked for a 6 months at the Air Force base out here. Lost that job because of military cut backs. I saw lots at the job. It was my fav. job thus far. What else did you ask me, hmmm . . . I will get Christmas off, because I'm working Thanksgiving. But even that week's schedule will be odd. Most people get about a week off around Christmas, I will probably just have two days off, if I'm lucky. I know I will get Christmas. So it goes! That is the price you pay so you people at home will be educated and know what is going on in the world!
Ha, your status, too true. Try working at a place where three months out of the year you can't take vacation, it's forbidden. And one of those months has Thanksgiving. Sweeps, ratings, stink.
I asked about the murals because I was thinking about having my son's room done in a Super Hero theme... if you dont do them that often, can you recommend anyone?
