A friend of the Skillet Lickers and Townes Van Zandt is a friend of mine. I liked the banjo playing too.

Howdy- I'm living in Asheville, NC and saw in your friends that you had included The Blue Eagle in Athens, OH where I attended college.
Good to see that place is still open and all-Don

Agreed. I play banjo with the preschool kids at work, twice a week. This Land is one of their favs, and I sing them all the verses I know. I knew the first two you mentioned, but not the final one. Thanks! Where did you find it?

We totally agree with you re: old-timey being the first punk music, and often said so ourselves. Awesome!

Hey, so I lied to you. I am working Friday night now from 6-close, so if you do not want to come to the bar, you do not have to.
I will be working on Saturday too, but still am having the BBQ! See you then!

You probably don't want to, I'm not house trained. I was just thinking to myself yesterday how many people apparently have to clean up after me now.

Hey,
I got a job at the Court Street Grill and there is a guy playing Friday night, and I think the owner wants me to show up, so I was wondering if you and Laura would like to come with me b/c I don't wanna go alone.
Let me know!

Hey Buddy,

I like your gritty approach the banjo. I used to live in Columbus, not so far from Athens!
