Originating from Sudbury, Ontario, Apparatus creates a hybrid of rock, metal and raw, natural energy to deliver transcendent musical stylings and performances. Having ignited an alluring force with their first album, Risen (2007), the alternative metal masters have risen into the light, once again, to present their second full length album: Evolution. Embracing themes of transformation and illumination, the album faithfully captures the essence of energy, honesty and timelessness. With roots stretched even deeper than the title might imply, Evolution takes the listener on a wave of divine consciousness. Apparatus members, Melanie Laquerre (vocals and acoustic guitar), Jason Poulin (lead guitar), Dan Lemieux (bass), and Sam King (drums) are set to take the Townehouse Tavern stage on Saturday, September 8th, 2012, to release Evolution: their new opus, and second studio album. -
