I cibo nascono nella primavera del 2004 dall’unione tra una band hard core melodico (formata da Marco, Fede e Matteo) e la voce gridata di Giorgio il cui risultato è, almeno nei primi due anni di attività, un sound che mescola il grind e l’hard core ad una sana attitudine demenziale. Le prime canzoni e i primi concerti spingono il gruppo a registrare, già nell’ottobre del 2004, il loro primo lavoro. Appetibile viene poi pubblicato all’inizio dell’anno successivo tramite la rete do it yourself e quindi grazie al solido aiuto di molte etichette torinesi e italiane. Nel dicembre del 2005, dopo una serie di concerti, Luca (chitarrista) lascia i Cibo che decidono unanimemente di restare in 4, e già nel febbraio del 2006 registrano il loro secondo lavoro: “ignorante”, remixato poi nell’ottobre 2006 da Tino Paratore e pubblicato ancora con metodo D.I.Y. nel febbraio 2007. Nel corso del 2007 i Cibo incominciano ad avere influssi sempre più melodici sul cantato e a indirizzarsi verso un genere sempre meno definibile come hard-core grind. Infine nell’ottobre 2007 registrano e mixano da Tino Paratore i due pezzi presenti sullo split 7”e CD con gli Airlines Of Terror uscito a marzo 2008.

Cibo were born in 2004 mixing the sound of a melodic hard core band (made up by Marco, Matteo and Federico) and Giorgio's screaming grind voice. After a few months they recorded “Appetibile”, their first album edited with the cooperation of 8 Italian independent labels .
At the end of 2005 Luca ( guitar ) decided to stop playing with Cibo, so the band decided to go on with just the 4 original components.Cibo record anyway the second album “ignorante” in 2006 February. In 2006 October they made the final mix with Tino Paratore : the LP was published in 2007 February with the cooperation of 18 Italian labels and one brazilian label.
During 2007 the band begins to change its own sound: the voice becomes more melodic-oriented and the music sounds now more linked to rock and hard rock, but attitude and presence remains the same. In 2007 October Cibo recorded with Tino Paratore 2 new songs for the “Cibo+Airlines of Terror” split (available on vinil and cd).The split was published in 2008 March and it well represents an example of the changes their sound reached in the last months.
