E’ una rapida evoluzione quella che, partendo dal primo incontro fra i due chitarristi Valerio e Germano e il batterista Carlo, ha visto presto arrivare Marco al basso e il formarsi della prima line-up con l’arrivo di Richard e Thomas, rispettivamente tastiere e voce. Tutti provenienti da contesti e da realtà musicali estremamente differenti uniti da un solo interesse comune: creare una Guns N’ Roses tribute band in grado di offrire un repertorio dalle sonorità estremamente fedeli alle originali! La scelta del nome è caduta su Appetite for Destruction come giusto tributo ad un album che rientra a pieno titolo fra quelli che hanno segnato la storia del Rock. Dal primo live datato Agosto 2007 una rapida escalation che in breve tempo porta gli AFD sui migliori palchi del panorama live-Rock del Lazio. Ad inizio 2008 Carlo, per cause di forza maggiore viene sostituito dal giovanissimo Mattia grazie al quale la band può mantenere la propria continuità artistica. Tutto quel che segue è energia, sudore e passione. E’ il tributo ad una delle band più controverse della storia del Rock, che partendo da Appetite for Destruction (1987) attraversa l’intera discografia della band californiana in tutte le sue sfumature, arrivando all’attesissimo e discusso Chinese Democracy (2008).
