Appia Music is the brand new label owned and A&R by French based DJ and producer Mr Sam, in collaboration with Black Hole Recordings.
Mr Sam has been active in the dance music industry for over 10 years. He released several tracks on labels like Magik Muzik and Black Hole Recordings.
Mr Sam is known for his epic productions, both as solo act and as Mojado with Dimitri Andreas. He built his reputation through numerous DJ performances all over the world and with his successful mix compilations called ‘Opus’.
In 2005, Mr Sam’s career as a producer reached a new level with the release of his first solo artist album “Lyteo”. The release harvested several club hits such as the now legendary Lyteo, Flying Around, Split and Insight featuring Kirsty Hawkshaw. Mr Sam’s productions received massive support by the world’s biggest DJs.
For 2008, Mr Sam has decided to give birth to his own label: Appia Music, set up in collaboration with Black Hole Recordings.
Appia Music was created by Mr Sam with the main objective to bring new talent to the scene and to release all new Mr Sam releases, including his forthcoming solo artist album and the new OPUS Secundo mix compilation.
Appia Music is set to be a label without boundaries.
“My aim is to focus on the quality of the music rather than following the trends. Appia Music will release all styles of electronic dance music: techno, trance, house, ambient, electro and down tempo. It’s the quality that counts”, according to a proud Mr Sam.
Appia Music is proud to bring you their first release: Mr Sam’s new single, from Mr Sam's forthcoming Artist Album : “Mr Sam vs Human Resource – Dominator”. The original hit, released in the beginning of the 90s, was one of Mr Sam’s all time classics. After a massive revamp, the track now comes back to life and it is a monster!
The original mix has caused positive mayhem during Mr Sam’s live sets in the last couple of months. Support from some of the world’s top DJs will only be a matter of time.
Top producer and rising star from Dutch origin Re-Ward, who recently remixed Sander Van Doorn’s “The Bass” single, and had the first release on Doorn Records, came up with a huge tech remix which will conquer the dance floors.
