apple trees and tangerines is an indie-pop duo originally from detroit, michigan. the band members consist of the sister/brother outfit of jax and seth anderson. while currently residing in different states, jax and seth write together by sending ideas and unfinished products over email to critique, complete and send back to each other. seth takes care of all music while jax takes care of the melodies and lyrics. apple trees and tangerines writes, records, films and edits everything on their own in each of their respective dorm rooms/apartments.
Jax Anderson enjoys ways of creative entertainment, asking people about their taste in music, buying flawed paint from home depot, listening to the same cd for five months straight, 1970's styled wall paper and breakfast foods of any kind. she can often be found singing to herself, regardless of how quiet the situation is supposed to remain.

Seth Anderson plays piano/synth amongst a number of other instruments. he enjoys western movie composers, blogs, eclectic eyewear, casio keyboards, free instruments, experimenting with samples and dancing with others. His favorite color is orange and he will eat anything that contains peanut butter.
seth got really upset at jax for mentioning in their previous bio that he "pushes the limits on personal hygiene". so, "he is the cleanest kid i know"-seth anderson.
Oh I'm sooooo sorry!!!! That concert is actually on January 11th. I'm so sorry about that. Hope there's no hard feelings and we'd still love for Seth to come if he is able to.
