How is Cocktails & Connections different from other networking/social events?
Cocktails & Connections is an event intended for established professionals and entrepreneurs who are SERIOUS about networking! Many so-called corporate mixers and networking parties focus more on the "fun" factor and less on the "networking" factor. This event is designed for highly-motivated professionals who enjoy a nice night on the town, however are looking for an evening which offers a level of productivity as well.
Who attends Cocktails & Connections?
The regulars at Cocktails & Connections events are upwardly mobile professionals who understand the value of building deep and meaningful relationships. At any given event, you should expect to meet doctors, attorneys, entrepreneurs, advertising and PR professionals, luxury professionals, and many others. Our attendees span the gamut of profession and age.
Can you describe the 9MinuteNetworking platform?
9MinuteNetworking was created to help facilitate the networking process. Participants in 9MinuteNetworking will be paired with other professionals based on their industry and/or title and are given the opportunity to create a professional contact.
I'm kind of shy. Do I have to participate in 9MinuteNetworking?
We feel that 9MinuteNetworking is an extremely valuable service and we recommend that all attendees participate; however we do understand that this platform may not be for everyone therefore 9MinuteNetworking is optional.
How do I RSVP?
Simply send an email to info@apresentaconcept.com expressing your intention to attend as well as your full name, reply email address, industry/title, and whether you plan to participate in 9MinuteNetworking. You may also RSVP by calling 1-800-828-2086.
Can I come alone to your event?
Absolutely! All of our events are designed to facilitate the establishment of new relationships. If you need assistance navigating the room at your first event, please be sure to seek out any Cocktails & Connections staff member.
Can I bring my colleagues with me to the event?
Yes – As long as they are successful and established professionals. Everybody should independently RSVP and join our mailing list.
Is there a dress code at your event?
Although there is no dress code for our event, business attire is appropriate.
How much do Cocktails & Connections events cost?
Each event varies, however in an effort to protect the integrity of the networking experience we usually charge an entry fee. All entry fees are collected on site.
Do you provide drink specials at your event?
Corporate or venue sponsors sometime underwrite drink specials, food or other specials at an event. For information on sponsorship opportunities please contact us at info@apresentaconcept.com with any ideas you may have.
How do you select venues for your event?
We look for venues which are sophisticated, trendy, and highly-acclaimed. These venues must also accommodate the professional networking needs of our guests. If you are interested in hosting the next Cocktails & Connections event at your establishment please contact us at info@apresentaconcept.com.
Is the contact information I provide to you kept secure?
We takes your privacy VERY seriously. We do not rent, sell, or share any personal or professional information with non-affiliated people or companies. Your email address and personal information will not be displayed in our emails to our members. From time to time, we may take photos (or have a photographer present) at our events. Your participation in any of our events and the use of our site provides consent for us to (1) take photos at our event and (2) use these photos on our website and in our marketing materials.

There are many ways to get involved. We are always looking for volunteers to participate at of our events.
