About me: THE REASON: The VH1 Save the Music Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in America's public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child's complete education. Since 1997, the VH1 Save the Music Foundation has provided nearly $40 million dollars worth of new musical instruments to 1,500 public schools in more than 100 cities around the country, impacting the lives of over 1 million public school children.
THE EVENT: Help Us Save The Music [fashion, music, and art exhibition] When: Thursday April 17, 2008 Where: The World Cafe LIve 3025 Walnut St. Philadelphia, PA 19104 Time: 4-8p.m.
SUPPORT IT & SAVE IT: We've been granted approval by VH1 and now we need the best of the best!!! There will be live music performances, live art demonstrations, extensive gallery space, and a fashion show... we're currently seeking more artists, musicians, DJs, photographers, models, designers, etc. willing to participate and showcase their talents to raise money for Save The Music. We are also looking for event volunteers & donations. ALL proceeds will be going to the VH1 Save The Music Foundation!
TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW! :-) ...we're honestly looking for the BEST "unknowns" around. we're really trying to put Philadelphia area students/talents in the spotlight! JOIN US! ♥ it's going to be one hell of a night!
