Movies
The first movie that I remember loving and wishing I could be living was the classic, "Gone With the Wind". It is still one of my all time favorites. I like most, well done, movies but my favorites are psychological thrillers, fantasy, and historical movies. I love the old musicals and almost any movie from the 40's, 50's, and 60's.
Television
Some network television but, for the most part, I like the "premium" channels, i.e., TLC, Animal Planet, History, Discovery, A&E, FX (probably one of my favorite channels), but I have to give huge kudos to HBO's Six Feet Under. I can watch these episodes over and over and over.
Books
I LOVE BOOKS!!!!!! I will attempt to read almost any book that I pick up but my favorite, current authors are; Patricia Cornwell; James Patterson; Dr. Bernie Siegel; Carolyn Myss; The Kellermans; Harlan Coben; Stuart Woods, Philip Margolin, JD Robb, Pete Hamill and so many more that I can't even think of them all.
Heroes

About me: 56 year old female, living in Portland, Oregon. I have lived in so many places and tried to find something redeeming with every one. The problem with Portland is, there are too many redeeming qualities to single any one out. Oregon and Washington both suit me just fine. I love my family and miss them but I have a wonderful granddaughter here and since we lost the second through 13th year of her life, it feels really good to be where she is. We are trying to spend as much time together as is possible and getting to know one another is fun. Kind of scary at times but still, fun. I would imagine that I will be here for some time to come.
