About me: Writer/columnist/aspiring photographer. Moved to Texas from Ohio. After a brief stint as a news photographer for a TV station, I am now the arts and entertainment reporter for the Victoria Advocate. Um...let's see, what else? I can't cook (unless you consider bread, cheese and an iron a gourmet meal, which fortunately, I do), I'm a horrible driver (or so the Ohio Department of Transportation has told me...repeatedly) and I love telling dumb jokes (a dyslexic man walks into a bra).
My ultimate goal in life is to marry Orlando Bloom and get fat from drinking martinis and eating bon-bons all day. Ah, the American dream lives on.

You have to forgive my emotions. They tend to jump around more than a virgin at a prison rodeo. :) (I can't take credit for that. It was on an episode of The Golden Girls and thought it was classic. You know ... like them!)
