About me:
April Rose has been belly dancing Tribal Fusion and Egyptian Cabaret for 8 years and is a member of the award winning, world-touring troupe UNMATA. She is currently earning her bachelors degree in World Dance at UCLA and has performed across the country and abroad in Taiwan. Her current side project is a fusion dance troupe called The Nautch Project. April Rose teaches dance classes 3 nights a week in West Los Angeles and can by contacted by e-mail at aprilrose@UNMATA.com. She is also available for entertainment booking.

Who I'd like to meet:
Dance Class Bio
I teach a modern belly dance class which includes elements of other dance styles (Hip Hop, Modern, Flamenco, Indian/Bharatanatyam…) and is set to modern music. The focus is on overlaying isolations and cued improvisation. Students will benefit from posture, arm work, ab work, hip movement, travel steps, improving flexibility, control, muscle tone, and cardio endurance. I break down challenging dance combinations in a fun understandable way that keeps the student moving and dancing throughout the entire class period.
