This is Aprilz Fool; The four piece band arose from the midwest in the early 90's with explosive original material and a gratifying stage show. Touring throughout the midwest, Aprilz Fool picked up a large fan base and earning the respect of the major labels. Aprilz Fool was becoming a household name until they departed ways in 1993. Still till this day the original Aprilz Fool Cassette and boot-leg CD are bouncing around the internet and the world. The band opend for Night Ranger,Hurricane Alice and Quiet Riot to name a few "Self-Titled" Album was released in the summer of 1991 and the band performed all of the songs off this release plus a few select covers as they toured throughout the midwest. The first single entitled "Man On The Moon" received radio airplay along with the power-pop ballad "Valley of Roses". "Two Daze Gone", a crowd favorite was the third single off the release. "City At Night" and "Cry Softly" are the bonus tracks that were never released from the band. Recorded two years after the original release with some very special guest musicians. Jester was a deliberate departure from Aprilz Fool and the song"Master of Illusion" was a brief exploration into that direction. The Jester 'concept album' was never finished and never released. On its own, Jester was a retail failure and made little impact. the experience did give perhaps the most enduring and influential song in Anthony's 17 years, For most, "City at Nite" is widely regarded as the best overall song of Anthony's career. Considering it was neevr publically released,is quite impressive.
With out Jester there would have never been no "City" and for that he will always be grateful.
Jester members:
Anthony "Bone" Timm-Vocals
Dave Sheffield-Guitar
Chris Janvrin-Bass
Brian Engan-Drums
Anthony joined Uncle Fester after Jester failed and after leaving Uncle Fester, Alibi was formed and the rest is history!!!!!!!!!!!.
Chris had moved onto start up Next to Nothing.

This is Alibi; This is Alibi; Alibi captured the spirit and sound of 80's and 90's music genre. The band used a wide diversity of pure musical talent and experience to make up for their impressive sound. The band released there self titled CD in the spring of 2003. The band has fashioned their own original music with the style and sounds of the eighties. Alibi was a four-member band of musicians collaborating from all over the state. Alibi has opened for Kiss Army, Hells Bells and National acts such as Night Ranger, Skid Row, Nazareth, Quiet Riot, Jackyl, Great White and the list goes on. Members; The Front man and founder of Alibi is Anthony Timm from Mankato,MN A lead vocalist with a wide, vibrant voice range and poetic writing talent. Anthony is a explosive singer with pure energy and personifies the band. He also is credited with two previous Albums; Aprilz Fool & Jester. He was the front man in Uncle Fester and after a fall out there ALIBI was born. And returning is Drummer Eric Asleson of Aprilz Fool now resides in Arizona. Was a touring rock drummer. He has played in severl local bands as well as sat in for Cinderella. It was difficult to contribute his writing styles to the bands he was involved with. Unable to read music, Eric used a measure of numbers to identify what keys or notes he was playing. Eric would would write complete songs or scores in his head before attempting to record them. to read more on Eric goto (www.andreasmusic.net). The guitar player of the group is Zak Rivers from Minneapolis,MN. Zak is a highly skilled guitar player who has over ten years of experiance. He is a instuctor and teaches guitar and music theory. Zak also has classic background and plays the cello with the Mankato Symphony. He has one solo Cd. On bass guitar and back up vocals is Gene Schott From Fairmont,MN. He teaches both bass and rhythm guitar and utilizes his classical background to play cello with Mankato Shymphony as well as Zak. He has one CD to his credit and is is the music director for Albert Lea high School. after a few years Eric left the band to do solo work and there sound/lighting man Scott Peterson took over the responsibilities. Scott is from Mankato,MN. he is a established drummer with several years road experience. He is also owner of DSP Productions a Nationally know sound and ligthing Company. Scott tours sereral weeks out of th eyear and adds a tremendous talent for overal sound quality an dband performance. The addition of Scott sparked a new life and added consistancy with unique flare for the 80's and soon after Scott replaced Eric Alibi hit the studio and released there self titled Cd. Due the Scott's Company he turned the sticks over to Eric Winter (Gemini) of Rochester, MN is a long time drummer with many years of road experience and adds a tremendous talent to our performance. His addition has sparked new life and added a legitimately professional approach to the ALIBI experience But in the fall of 2006 Anthony had decided to retire after 17 years of playing But the memories will last forever as well as there music. Look for a cd from everything in the future of all his past Bands including Jester on a single CD. Stay tuned!!!!!
