I’m sorry…sorry that while there’s war and hate and ugly in the world, when there is an abundance of “real” issues to solve, to make better, to change, to focus on, we are still voting on things that should be. I’m sorry that a majority get to make a vote that affects the minority, that people don’t understand, but don’t try, I’m sorry that people still have to fight for rights, liberties, and justice. I’m sorry that love has to be defined and packaged before being accepted.
I’m tired… tired of lack of respect, tired of the loss of manners, the fighting, the not understanding, changing views and opinions and morals and ethics as the occasion strikes, imposing ideas and beliefs on others, refusing to accept, not attempting to understand, of being open to “change” so long as it’s “change” you agree with and effects only you, opinions based on hate and discrimination, wanting rights, liberties and justices you don’t want to give to others, making decisions that don’t affect your lives based on what you see as right, just and fair, I’m tired of lip service, people wanting what they want, when they want it and complaining when those around them want the same, act the same, expect the same, I’m tired of listening, I’m tired of watching, I’m tired of hearing. I’m tired of hatred.
Its time… time for real change, for all people, for all liberties and justices and rights, it’s time to expect more, while giving more, time to come together in love, for love, all forms of it, it’s time for thank you’s and please and you’re welcomes, time for holding the door, waiting patiently, offering chairs, smiling, time for understanding, empathy, sympathy, compassion, it’s time for making decisions that affect everyone positively and leaving those decisions that don’t affect us to those it does, for putting aside differences, for non judging, for patience, for being open, to be fair, to start talking, start listening, start watching, start hearing. Its time for love, all love, any love.

My pen is itching to write,
and my emotions rise to the occasion.
I let my feelings go,
and the pen races across the paper,
no hesitation, no holding back,
just fluid movement between mind and hand.
I write about the darkness,
about anguish, sorrow and pain.
I write on about happiness,
about laughter, joy and sparkling memories.
The feelings flow from within me,
like a soft and steady wind,
flowing and drifting across the sands of time
with no destination preplanned.
At times I pause to laugh or cry,
or curse silently under my breath.
I continue to let my thoughts flow freely,
across the joy of birth, moments cherished, anger felt,
and the dark fears surrounding death.
After what feels to me like hours have passed,
I cease my thinking and writing flow,
and finally release my pen.
I am completely drained, having given
my heart, my soul, and all of my emotions to the writing.
I turn the pages back, to read my completed masterpiece,
and I realize with a small smile and loud laughter
that I must have used invisible ink.

My father was a country jammin musican,and all the Big 'ol Boys...(No name dropping here...Buuut..) Used to come to our house and jamm all nite, he'd wake me up to sing with them & handed me my 1st guitar at 5, told to write a song by the end of the week IIIFFF I wanted my allowance.(nooo pressure tthere..) Music & Art became my toys to play with,,,Been playn 4 my supper ever since.. around all the music scenes...like my daaad, .. never stuck with a deal, (hardheaded?...that'd beee aaahhh....yeess!!) its not like that now ,record companies are not the only way, INDIES have overtaken the "norm"(HATE IT... always have Always Wiill !!!) .. have a million songs(last count...uummm),different styles (depending on the songs moooood...) writing what i ponder ...(keeps me from going completely insane!...(buuut... how would i knooow?aye?...) I'm ahh little sarcastic...(ya think!...) or visionary(ooohhh) in my songs...think about it ..(Timez Up!),, My different CD's carry my different styles...itz really freakin an experience doing it all myself i enjoy! Road Band 4 the Road... also work in major television/films,(where alll broke musicians go..$$$ cha ching!!..)(YiKEZ!!) sooo... gigs and recording are in off seasons for now. stay tuned for video's , new song & other changes on this site often...(blah blah blah blah...)...Stay tuned!! Hi Apryl… Well, its Xmas again & soon 2010. I hope alls well with you. Its been a crazy year for me, some good, some not so good & some just downright bizarre. Im now totally based, living & recording in Tokyo, & loving it here, apart from the earthquakes. There was no more room in hell, so I relocated LOL. I had a few delays here but its all coming together now. Anyway, I wish you a great Xmas thru to the new year & I hope 2010 brings you as much luck, love, success & happiness as you wish for… MERRY XMAS XXXX.
