I was never much of a meat eater so the transition has gone very well. The only problem I have run across is finding the ingredients to make my animal friendly foods. I run a rescue at my home and would like to share with you our latest rescue effort. We heisted her from a yard before her first fight. She was heavily chained with full body harness. They may have beaten her and had taken away her ears but they could not take away her beautiful spirit. Her name is Chyna. In spite of all she has has to endure, she is still such a love! I VOLUNTEER FOR PAWS & the PSPCA	Oct 17 2008 6:37 AM Hello and Thank you for being my friend!! Your help is needed for the homeless animals of Philadelphia. On Saturday, October 25, I will participate in the PAWS Mutt Strut, which will bring 1,000 animal lovers and their pets together for a 1.5-mile walk through FDR Park. We will raise badly needed funds for PAWS’ lifesaving programs including adoption outreach, spay/neuter clinics, and low-cost vaccination services. We will also raise awareness of the harsh reality that thousands of healthy and treatable animals are killed in Philadelphia each year, simply because they do not have homes. The Mutt Strut will offer us a day of companionship and celebration, and will enable PAWS to give countless more animals the chance to experience that companionship and safety for themselves.
