aptmusic is the home of audio extrordinaires Simon Ashdown and Jay Chakravorty, the pair (signed to Copenhagen label stereotapedeck as Morning Theft and Cajita respectively) have been writing music for, well, let’s just say a long time. The mission of aptmusic is to write beautiful music for beautiful films - commercial, non-profit, art house, student, whatever, it’s just gotta have some soul. We believe in working with the client to expertly craft the sounds to compliment your film and give it the soundscape that communicates the vision that you want to share. aptmusic also offers a roster of affiliated artists that are willing to make their audio scribblings available to you if they meet your needs. Previous clients have included Expedia Travel, Casual Films, Halo Films, and Handshake Productions.
