   About a punch of pacifist
This is what it sounds like, if you but a taperecorder in a haunted house and turn the gain to max...Ghost folkrock I like it alot, this has a unigue vibe, the vocal is so tender that it sounds like it's going to crack anytime. Reviewed by: Hithansen from Horsens, Denmark

All I have are dirty coke line stripper dollars, can I throw those your way? Naturally I expect a show in return (as if art and music aren't a show enough).
Take care. Don't buy into the corporate American Christmas bullshit. It's a consumer holiday.

HOTHCOMP001
We'll Leave the Lights On

He Of The House's very first (of many) compilation. Nineteen tracks from twenty artists, the end result of which is possibly one of the most diverse compilations I've ever heard. From soft spoken acoustic folk to raving, churning dirge tunes; from a noisy, industrial cover of a Sonic Youth song to oldschool punk from when it was still raw, fast, and unforgiving. Powerviolence peppers the grounds where spooked whispers whinny along, and the caustic words of a madman festering in his own mind play out over perpetually plucked guitar strings. A true honour it is to work with these amazing artists, and I do hope we can keep them coming back for years.

Featuring: Zombie Battle Axe, xHaroldShitmanx, Kro & Jason "EVIL" Covelli, Nemesism, Ginny Greenteeth, Don't Move, Spiral Vertigo, Chachi On Acid, Mike Bruno, Autopia, Dead Kid Harvester, Jason "EVIL" Covelli, Karmakumulator, Chelsea Wolfe, RedSK vs. teh soup rebellion, Torturing Nurse, Sleepers, Flea McGruff

Housed in handmade & handpainted paper jackets with individually original black tissue cutouts, enclosed with a button. Featuring full page insert artwork by Jason "EVIL" Covelli and a blurb about each band/artist from myself.
Limited to 45 handnumbered copies.

Mike Bruno - In Memory CDr

Twenty three tracks of raw, emotional, and deeply cathartic acoustic songs, seemingly wrenched from the deepest, darkest corners a guitar can go whilst being plucked and strummed this gently. Mike's voice truly transcends the barrier between 'barely there' and absolutely destructive. All live tracks recorded over the span of five years, all over New Jersey. A true gem from a great friend, and my personal favourite underground acoustic album of the year.

Limited to 43 copies.
Housed in completely handmade paper jackets with original artwork, enclosed with yarn.

Haha. Yes I know exactly what you mean. I only use myspace for music because of that reason. Your music is pretty amazing I must say although I do have a soft spot for acoustic music.

josh, its been a while, my clock hands went round too many times.
hope you're doing well.
these days when i struggle to write, i try to think of what your eyes see. the roads, mountains maybe. the change out of your pocket to pay for bread and bunches of leafy greens.
i'll get along with it then.
go well, as always.

i am so excited for you. you have no idea.

...and i will totally help anyway that i can.

if you want to come to pittsburgh - and play different places for a week ... we can make that happen.

people are good. (i'm trying to convince myself) - but really - you would have a place to sleep & food to eat while you're here.

Keep me posted on how the record is coming. (like, who you're working with - the latest in computer capabilities - or tascam 8 tracks - and anything that blows your mind)

album artwork and blah blah blah

you could actually fly here - and get a van that runs on veggie oil - we might have to work on it ourselves.... but check out fossil free fuels on myspace. those guys are brilliant. besides all that, most of the restaurants will feed you if you take their vegetable oil away.

TOUR?!?!?!? Hell Yes.

awwJosh!!! i've waited years for anyone to recognize that Dylan reference!!!

you're awesome.

i'm sorry for butchering the names of your songs & for totally missing the samiamnot page. Orphan & Scaffold are both great words - so surely - that's kinda embarrassing. :)

don't ever even think to apologize or say that you think that something might suck a little... unless you're drunk and out of tune & i'm sitting across from you.

i love it all.

Aug 28 2009 8:48 PM

so now i guess i get to feel like the comment whore... (i made friends with optirosa & everything) ... ruthless self promotion... still makes me nauseated.  i know that feeling. but seriously. the song with- to the- or- of the - 'West' in the title off the 'Charlie' page... i was HOPING was you. So - let me know when you put together:samiamnot.

in other late breaking news - what's this work that keeps you 'away'?

Haley

Haley

Aug 25 2009 2:24 AM

that's you playing 'Charlie's Lament' right?... it's really hard to remember the names of the songs once you're in the comment window trying to remember what was what was what.

& to further that point... this is the wrong myspace to be talking about why the 'of the sheath to the sword'  song is the PERFECT reason to take away M83's computers.

it's like an analog response to any of their songs ... and to me... that's way more REAL.

LOVE

Sarah
