JuJitsu, I live it and breath it every day of my life.
I have been training for over 20 years in styles from TKD, Karate, JKD, Wing Chung, BJJ, boxing & arnis. When I met my current Japanese Ju Jitsu instructor it became clear instantly that I found the most complete street style self-defense in the tristate area.
After becoming a certified instructor I taught many students at a local Health Gym for over seven years. When my membership grew I took my loyal students and opened up my first AQMAI Dojo in Wappingers Falls. After 2 years and membership growing we moved 3 doors down to a 3000 sqft Dojo. After our student base grew it was time for AQMAI to take it to the next level. We currently train in a state of the art 6000 sqft Dojo with 2 class rooms.
Our student base range from 4 years old to 70 years old. We have 6 certified instructors under the AQMAI system so that each student can learn proper technique. We have many classes available both specialty and general. We also teach many free seminars to local businesses and groups. Please feel free to visit our Dojo and see why many of the local school principles, PE teachers, military, Law Enforcement and parents seek our training.

About me: We teach true old school JuJitsu which is a heavly based no rules self-defense martial art. In the early 1900's the old school JuJitsu style was broken up by various instructors to make a sport for training like MMA, BJJ, Aikido, Judo, Karate. We incorporate every aspect of a true no rules street self-defense system. The school is owned and operated by Shihan Quatrochi and certified instructors under Shihan. If you are ever in the Dutchess County New York area please feel free to stop in.*************************************************************************************************************************************************************************Hagan Elementary School would like to thank Anthony Quatrochi’s Martial Arts Institute for taking the time to teach several lessons to our students. Instructors Shodan Zac, Sempai Ian and AQMAI student Wayne taught our third, fourth and fifth grade students several self-defense techniques that did not require striking, but simply blocking and other gentle, basic forms of martial arts. Shodan Zac, Sempai Ian and AQMAI student Wayne actively engaged students in a number of scenarios and games where students received the opportunity to practice several Ju-Jitsu and self-defense techniques with a partner. The kindergarteners, first and second graders were taught about "Stranger Danger". Students were taught who a stranger is and what they can do to protect themselves from strangers. The martial arts instructors discussed the use of words, voice, and techniques to get away from a stranger who may grab you.
Instructors Shodan Zac, Sempai Ian and AQMAI student Wayne stressed the importance of self-confidence, respect for others as well as the importance of being active on a daily basis. Hagan students had a ton of fun while learning how to effectively deter a potential bully or stranger. We truly want to thank Anthony Quatrochi’s Martial Arts Institute for giving Hagan Elementary student’s an opportunity to learn potential life saving skills.
Sincerely,
Lisa Minouge and Carrie Spiegel
