Stylistically it cannot be categorised in one specific genre. There is some light Jazz, celtic, pop and prog all mixed together and a few other surprises. All the tracks are "song based" but there is always something interesting going on with the musicians and the occasional soloing lets them show their stuff once in a while. The music and the production are very "licked". At times I get a Sade feel or even Joni Mitchell in her jazzier period. ... The songs are all very well written. To me this is the main strength of this album, this and Maarit Saarenkunnas very beautiful voice.”
