hey everyone! just sending out some info to my horse friends! As of tonight... my home/farm/school/everything! is in the direct path of Hurricane Gustav! Terrebonne Parish is where i live (Northern part fortunately) but i'm only about 1 or 1.5 hours north of the gulf of Mexico aka BELOW NEW ORLEANS... any news you may hear about Terrebonne Parish , Lafourche Parish, or Houma louisiana is US!!!! yes i'm terrified because i lived through Katrina and yes we will get the worst of the storm unless some divine miracle shoots ole gustav to the east of us which would be GREAT! i know probably none of you have witnessed a hurricane except for on TV... it's a VERY scary thing! but it's our lives and so on the eve of Hurricane Gustav i just want to ask everyone to PRAY! for us! everyone is scared! most everyone has evacuated leaving their homes vulnerable to this giant storm ... but we are not leaving... we are staying w/ the horses and dogs and parrot! I dont do anything with AHYA yet because I dont really know how to get involved. I wrote on my registration of Arizona AHA that I wanted to and I havent really gotten anything back.
My favorite is Three Day Eventing! :D
and this year I'm entered in the two 3'-3'3" Jumpers class at the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show. I'm planning on Gamblers Choice next year.
