After six years, four independent releases, four drummers, and almost fifty live performances, Aramae is amicably splitting. For some time now, we have all been struggling to keep the ball rolling forward and make decisions about the band that we could all stand behind. At some point, it began to feel like the wheels were falling off the cart (mainly due to the lack of a
permanent drummer) and progress has ceased. Our final, recently added drummer announced his departure from Aramae last month. Chris (AKA Kurisu) will be moving out of state while Diego and Rick will remain in Los Angeles. Despite our continued friendship and mutual respect, we have all decided to musically go our separate ways.
We thank you all for the continued love and support that you have shown over the years and we will be keeping our music available to you online (through iTunes and MySpace) for at least the rest of 2008. We also will have a final "fan pack" for purchase where you can buy an amazing assortment of Aramae memorabilia below cost.
It has been an honor to pour our hearts out through our songs and we never lost sight that you have all been so great to us. We look forward to sharing our various future musical projects with you.
