    "[Aran's music is] some good s**t." - JashieP, Outlaw Radio Chicago Aran Buzzas is a honky tonk singer/songwriter from Missoula Montana who dabbles in rowdy Irish folk music and has roots in bluesy rock. Aggressive rhythm guitar playing, strong vocals, and lyrics that are both amusing and heart-felt characterize Aran's country songs. Since the fall of 2010 Aran has been playing live frequently. Everything from late-night bar shows, to First Friday performances, to taprooms, festivals, house parties, and sports bars. He's shared the stage with Hellbound Glory, Peewee Moore & The Awful Dreadful Snakes, Scott H. Biram, The Clumsy Lovers, and The Ten Foot Polecats, as well as appearing at the first ever Farmageddon Records Music Festival in West Yellowstone, MT, July 2012; and Aran's songs have been featured on such respected podcasts as Outlaw Radio Chicago, IBWIP, Rebel Rouser Radio, Friday Happy Hour, Blue Ribbon Radio, Trailer Park Romance, and That Much Further West. Just recently Aran wrapped up recording on his first full-length release, "3 7 77", which will hit the streets in early 2013. With Travis Yost recording and mixing (and playing stand up bass and drums), the album will feature many of Missoula's best roots musicians, and Aran's catchy lonesome songs. <style type="text/css"> <!-- body {background-color:#4d1d07;} --> </style>

About Aran Buzzas

Aran Buzzas is a native of Missoula Montana who got his musical start playing classic rock in his high school band Groundswell, back in the mid 90s. Since then Aran has been doing the singer/songwriter thing, writing and recording songs on his analog 4-track and brushing up his lead guitar chops. This culminated with the relase of Aran's homemade debut CD "Just Bein' Here" in April of 2008. "Just Bein' Here" combines elements of strong song-writing, lots of guitars, and innovative back-up vocals from close friend and collaborator Mike Dunn. The songs range from rock to country, blues to Irish traditional, with Aran playing all the instruments. For the past two years Aran has hunkered down to refine his "sound". Using the bluesy rock basis of "Just Bein' Here" as a jumping off point, traditional and outlaw country sounds have been dominating more recently, along with an ever growing element of edgy Irish trad. Released in August 2010, the "Niki's Closet Demo" features a more stripped down sound. Mostly bluesy country, with one tragic Irish rocker, you can hear that Aran Buzzas' music has matured. Watch for Aran on the streets and stages of Missoula in the months to come!
