Texas NORML's 4th Annual 6th Street Smokeout is coming up fast! Saturday, October 17th, at Momo's Club in Austin! You can get your tickets online by clicking "Tickets", and you know it's gonna be a sell-out!!
Why don't we do some "Will shimmy for halvah" campaigning for the cause (Cardboard signs and glitter coin belts), that is, if you don't win the 100,000 dollars. You know, a cross between a homeless plea, a bikini car wash, and a cake walk? We could do the butt walk across the floor that Tashar made us do in dance class (MADE us, do...hahaha). People will throw monies at us! We toss the money on to you, you toss the halvah to us...but that suitcase better be full of halvah lady, no funny business, deal's a deal!!! Uh, er, I forgot to mention, I think that circus monkey did something with Salome!
I had an Ararat dream the other night, maybe while I was in Mexico! We were having a party, or course, and it was at some variation of the Manor you threw New Year's at year before last. There were some hills, and longer roads, and some hint of something sexy in the air, and lots of bouganvilla and hibiscus flowers. There was some mayhem and innuendoes of halvah flirtations.
The 6th Street Smokeout is now a yearly institution for Texas NORML,
and this year’s 4th Annual promises to be as “Austin” as you can get.

Beard, vendor booths from local head shops & artists, and food
available from the Mellow Mushroom (http://mellowmushroom.com/), as well as sponsors like 420 Science, http://420science.com/ & High Times, http://hightimes.com/, the 4th Annual 6th St Smokeout is a “can’t miss” event!
Are you still in business? I recommended Ararat to be considered for a spot as a savory food vendor at the Austin Cupcake Smackdown. They got in touch with me to say they couldn't get in touch with you.

are looking for people to go online and post Earthdance Austin info on
all of your favorite blogs and forums. Tell all your friends and get
this grassroots effort going.
This being the first year, it is
harder to get the word out. Please send us your email address to get on
the mailing lists, then send out those newsletters to everyone you
know. If all of our friends on here did this we could get the word out
to over a million people.
Bands and Performers, Please add us
to your top friends and put up the poster, let everyone know you are
performing at Earthdance Austin and that you want them to come out and
support you.
We are working on the new newsletter now. If we
sell 500 tickets before July 15th, we can have Kevens (headline for
Burning Man) and Ky- Mani Marley. We need your help in order to get
this done though.
