About me:
The Arcadia Volunteer Fire Department hosted its first Bluegrass Festival in September of 1984. A small crowd of residents and passerby's enjoyed their first taste of what would soon become an annual event. Over two decades later, Arcadia's stage has seen the talents of performers such as Bill Monroe, Ralph Stanley, Jimmy Martin, Mac Wiseman, Del McCoury, The Osborne Brothers, Rhonda Vincent, Larry Stephenson, Lost & Found, The Johnson Mountain Boys, James King, The Country Gentlemen and many other great musicians.
Our kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with affordable food from hamburgers, shrimp baskets, fries soup, pies and beverages, just to name a few.
We recently added restrooms and shower facilities to make a weekend away from home more pleasant. If your looking for that new hat or accessory, we've got vendors to help you out. Find items from clothing, jewelry, crafts and instruments/accessories and still be within distance to hear your favorite band.
Come and visit us for the day or bring your RV or tent and enjoy the weekend. There'll be plenty of parkin' lot pickin', so bring your instrument and show us what you've got! If by chance the weather turns too severe, we have a new indoor facility so you can still enjoy your favorite performers comfortably.
