Arcane Addiction is a one-man band fronted by Portland Oregon underground musician Brandon Sills.
Utilizing the low-tunings similar to Korn and injecting the mix with electronic synthesis similar to Nine Inch Nails, and topping it with spoken word/death metal style vocals, Arcane Addiction presents itself as a dynamic and flexible form of experimental Industrial and Metal, with influences ranging from film scores and the 80's.
Arcane Addiction's mission as a creative force is to open the minds of the imprisoned to desire to change things they see currently unfit, while speaking from a dystopic point of view past present and future.
Arcane Addiction released an Alpha version of it's debut LP, "The Occult: Stories for 2012" on February 5th, 2008 to the internet in MP3-only format, and is currently re-recording the entire album from scratch for an Omega version due Fall/Winter 2009/2010, with a follow-up due Spring/Summer 2010.
Arcane Addiction has also performed plenty of live shows in the Portland OR/Vancouver WA area since 2004, opening/performing with other bands Debris, Soul Distraction, and Wednesday 13.
As an established entity of over 5 years, Arcane Addiction continues to experiment and create sounds and textures that will kill and resuscitate the living, and put the dead at peace, knowing in all the wrong humanity has done, someone is out to make things right.
