Arcane Digital Recording is owned and operated by Ryan Butler, (who's done time playing with the likes of North Side Kings, Structure of Lies, Unruh, Mercitron, Landmine Marathon etc. and has shared the stage with everyone from Neurosis and Machine Head, to State of Fear and Assuck, to Madball and Agnostic Front, and Immolation and Repulsion) and is a full digital recording, mixing, and mastering facility with high quality analog front ends by Neve, Universal Audio, Avalon, Empirical Labs, Trident etc.. It's a small facility with affordable rates. We are capable of and have worked with every style from: Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, Indie, Mariachi, Metal, Reggae, Grindcore, Hardcore, Punk, Acoustic, Industrial, Classical etc. etc. We have worked with many National, International, and Local acts. So, you can work with someone who generally likes and is familiar with all types of music.

We record and edit with the 128 tracks of the latest Pro Tool's software onto an extremely fast Mac Pro with dual quad core processing. Universal Audio PCIe 2 Ultra and Project card's as well as our TC Electronic's Powercore Firewire effect's system's give us an almost unending supply of effects and CPU power, as well as many effects by MCDSP, Line 6, Sound Toys, Isotope, FXpansion etc. etc. The studio feature's: Digidesign Control 24, Wonderful monitoring by Tannoy Elipse 10" monitor's and Reference monitoring with Roland's MA-8's, Tannoy PBM 6.5's, and Yamaha HS-80M's quickly switchable by the Presonus central station for great referencing. Preamp's: 2 Vintech X73's (Neve replica), Vintech Dual 1272(Neve replica), Trident Channel strip, 2 Avalon 737 channel strip's , 2 Universal Audio LA 610 channel strips, Focusrite ISA 428 Neve pre's, Aphex 207 Dual, Apogee Rosetta etc. Outboard Compressor's: Universal Audio (1176's and LA-2A's), UA LA2A, Empirical Lab's Distressor's, Focusrite, TC Electronic's, Digidesign, etc. Our mic cabinet feature's: Neumann U87ai, Royer R121, Blue Baby Bottle, Sennheiser MD 421 II's, 5 Sennheiser e604's, 2 Sennheiser e609's, Sennheiser kick drum e602 and 902, Cascade Audio Fathead 2 Ribbon Mic, Yamaha Subkick, 2 AKG C431's, multiple Shure SM57's and Beta 57A's, Shure SM7B, Audix i-5, 2 Shure SM 81's, 2 AKG C214's, Beyer Opus 88 etc. etc. Other effects and gear provided by Tascam, Roland/Boss, DOD, BBE, Rolls, Yamaha MO6 Synthesizer, Roland GT 3, Line 6 Pod X3 Pro countless pedals, Alesis D4 and DM5 drum module's and full set of Ddrum red truck triggers as well as sound replacement. Great guitar tone is also important to a good recording and you're welcome to use the studio's in house Diezel Herbert, Bogner Uberschall, EVH 5150 III, Mesa Boogie Mark IV and matching cabinet's, Fender Twin Reverb, Engl Powerball (on request), Marshall JCM 800, Krank Krankenstein and matching cabinet, as well as Line 6 POD X3 Pro and DI available. PLEASE take booking time seriously. If less than three weeks notice is given for cancellation, you will not be refunded your deposit. Not something I enjoy doing, but I've gotta eat. Would you be super excited if your boss asked you not to come in to work for a week? Yeah, same here. I like to feed myself and my dog and pay bills, and if you back out for the heck of it (death in the family excluded! haha), I just might not get to. PLEASE be ready to rock, change your string's, your drumhead's, anything that will make you sound better. I work hard at what I do. You should too and we'll make a great quality recording.
