Gli Arcanus Nox nascono durante l'inverno del 2005 con l'incontro di Andrea, Nefas e Ahriman. Essi influenzati dal sound violento e veloce del più efferrato black metal, riescono a comporre pezzi molto veloci e con un aggiunto di tecnica. Durante i mesi di Gennaio e Febbraio si aggiunge alla line-up K.Nekron e la band comincia suonare live in varie occasioni.
La band sarà costretta in molte occasioni a cambiare bassisti, e questi li porterà a suonare alcuni live con l'assenza di basso. K.Nekron, dopo quasi un'anno di militanza nella band, lascia il gruppo per motivi personali e da il cambio alla voce ad Ahriman, già chitarrista della band. Prima che il cantante si appresta a lasciare il gruppo, la band registra il loro primo demo "FUNERAL WORLD", contenente LOST SOUL, 1349, THE TOWER e la title track, FUNERAL WORLD. Lasciato il gruppo ufficialmente le parti vocali vengono riregistrate da Ahriman. Dunkellheit, già chitarrista in un'altra band, entra come bassista ufficiale negli Arcanus Nox. Ora la band è completa nelle sue azioni! Attualmente la band sta lavorando già sul nuovo materiale.
