Archaic is what remains of Rot In Pain, Last Embrace, Kursifixion and Medium Ablaze. Formed in April of 2005 the line-up was solidfied with Tim Goergen on vocals, Mark Sergenian on bass, Jon Avila on drums, and Steve Pinn on guitars. In June of 2006 Archaic parted ways with thier drummer Jon Avila. Shortly after that they brought in James McCaffrey on guitar. Since then they have recorded a 2 track demo with Tom from Afflitus and have much to come in 2007. They are currently searching for a new drummer to solidify the line up and move forward. They have an awsome/growing resume of national acts under their belts which include Bewtween the Buried and Me, The Red Chord, The Acacia Strain, A Perfect Murder, Watch Them Die, Into the Moat, Soilent Green, 25 ta Life, Dead by Wednesday, Mnemic, Meshuggah, Iscariot, SubZero, Silent Civilian, and Bleed the Sky.
