About me: I am an artist. I believe strongly in self expression. I produce whimsical, colorful, unique works, and have participated in scores of shows in galleries, clubs and other venues in central Florida.
I grew up wandering the woods of upstate NY with a camera in hand and a strong desire to create. At an early age I developed a keen interest in technology and how it could apply to art. I started manipulating photos manually at first, using scissors, rulers, and other analog means. Then during college I discovered photoshop. It was a dream come true: a creative tool that could help me to make my visions and ideas manifest in a way I could not do with a camera alone. My love of art and technology could finally work together synergistically to create and express myself.
I love color and the human figure and experiment with these almost exclusively in my art. I am inspired by nature, other artists, cityscapes and my dreams. I currently live in Florida and spend as much time creating as possible.
I have had so many requests for this that i am sending it again. Those that have seen it please understand. Thank you Erik
Life is a journey through many terrain From gardens of pleasure to deserts of pain From an ocean of love to a jungle of hate From Mountains of glory to canyons of fate.
There's a highway for joy and a highway for sorrow A Road for today and a road for tomorrow.
So choose your path wisely and walk with care If you follow your heart, you'll find your way there.
I've been to the garden and planted seeds there. I've been to the desert and felt the despair.
I've swam in the ocean and drank of it's wine I climbed up the mountain to touch the sky.
I went to the canyon and started to cry I've traveled both highways, both today And tomorrow.
I've basked in the joy And wallowed in sorrow. My Path has been chosen and I've walked it with care.
I followed My heart and I'm on my way there
So I'll just keep walking till I find what I'm after. To Mountains and oceans and Gardens of laughter.
THE RETURN OF THE BAT
Specimen will bring their special brand of glam mayhem, The Batcave to London again.
After last year’s wildly-successful 25th anniversary Batcave event, The Batcave returns to its original spawning ground of London’s West End on Sunday July 19 for another night of blasphemy, lechery and blood.
Specimen (Fresh from a fantastic show at Leipzig’s Waves Gotik festival), the original Batcave instigators will headline the lurid frolics at the Embassy Club, (29 Old Burlington St, London W1S3AP) Also on the bill are original Batcavers Sexbeat, with DJs Hamish and Cavey Nick, cavorting from decks to decadence with the usual brutal, trouser-dropping surprises & suitably confronting & barbaric entertainment.
The 2009 Batcave will feature installations from exciting new artists of the ‘Dark London Underground’ and visuals from the upcoming ‘Welcome To The Batcave’ book, along with this year’s bitcrushed message from the creature in t

Hands reach out tentatively to touch the wonder of your face, your skin translucent like spun glass, only more beautiful. I could stare into your crystalline eyes for centuries, bask in the afterglow of your smile until I am dust.
I worry you are oblivious to my feelings – or worse – uncaring. You seem unaware of the cyclone of emotions roiling beneath my surface or perhaps too concerned with your own inner storms, your own demons.
I see a darkness in your eyes sometimes when you think I am not looking. There is a quality of restlessness about you that makes me want to reach out to you, try and comfort you.
Is it possible to be both frightened and fascinated by you? I sense a storm in your soul, the lightning flash of which I sometimes catch reflected in your eyes. I see a question on your lips which I long to answer.
But I know that you and I can never be. This burgeoning flower of feeling must and will be stopped before it can open, petal by petal, and reveal that which I’ve tried so hard to conceal. ..
