"Forgotten Heroes" PBS special Executive Producer and Director. "Forgotten Heroes" will tell the story of the small band of Mexican fighter pilots, know as the Aztec Eagles who risked their lives to help US forces to victory in the Pacific Theater of World War II.

James Archer began producing, directing and performing in the movie industry in 1993. During his career, he has produced / directed videos, documentaries, television commercials and feature length film. He is an active Screen Actors Guild member and has worked in motion pictures such as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Austin Powers, Jerry Maguire and Waiting to Exhale, to name a few. His television experience includes Ellen, Drew Carey, Coach, Chicago Hope and others. He has over six years of experience on both sides of the camera, including camera work, editing, and video distribution.

Film - "Leather and Iron" a biker movie for the Harley crowd featured hundreds of motorcycle extras and a six minute motorcycle / car chase scene thru downtown Phoenix. The chase scene was done over a two shoot with a record 96 camera set-ups in one day. Leather and Iron was an award winner at the New York International Independent Film Festival, James Archer was nominated for Directorial Debut and winner at the Columbus International Film Festival. "Immortal Youth" action drug traffic feature, promo short complete and production date TBD.

TELEVISION - Producer - pilot talk show "Ask Ced" hosted by Cedric Cellalos (Phoenix Suns) and special guests Charles Barkley (Suns), Dan Marjerie (Suns) and Larry Fitzgerald (Arizona Cardinals). Producer/Director - "Liquid Extremes" reality show about the exciting world of power boats and their builders, currently shooting in Lake Havasu City.

SCRIPTS - J. Archer Productions has successfully completed 3 screenplays (Deadwood, Leather and Iron, Xtreme Heat) 2 have been sold to the market place and one that is currently in a re write for production. For television 2 teleplays Alcohol Brain under the Influence and Deck My Boat. James Archer and award winning writer Brian McFarland have successfully worked together since 1996 writing creative content for screen, television and industrial.....

COMMERCIALS - 2006 DV award for a multi commercial campaign, DNA Communications. James Archer continues to produce commercials with variuos budgets.....

MUSIC VIDEOS - International Music Artist Mickey Oliver has contracted with J. Archer Productions for music videos of the singles from his upcoming album. The first video "Is It Love" had a nineteen week presence on Canada's BPM TV charts, climbing to number four on their Hot 20 chart. Second Video "Nothin More to Give" made to the BPM TV charts and climbed to number three....

As a Content Developer, J. Archer Productions continues to produce and direct quality content for television and the screen.
