Sept. 23 09 willamette week says:
[LEFTOVER JAM] Archers
is the full-band permutation of Michael Cantino’s solo project, Orange
Jam, and in this instance the boost in membership has been a boon to
the Portland songwriter. Cantino’s solo material consisted mostly of
his extraordinarily distorted guitar cozying up to twisted doo-wop
melodies and congealing to form something resembling the Crocodiles
inside a blender. In an imminently logical turn of events, Archers has taken Cantino’s retro buzz-sawing and transformed it to the deafening clatter it always wanted to be. SHANE DANAHER.
Too fishy a recountal; I would never forget an apostrophe! A dubious narrative indeed! This battle isn't over Cantino! (shakes fists as the Cantino Air Ship flies off)
