   About The Archetype Project

Hello from The Archetype Project! We're a band based in the Waukesha/Pewaukee area of Wisconsin, and made up of four local high school students. We play a huge variety of cover songs, including genres from classic rock, to thrash metal, to punk, to alternative, and even a little bit of shabutie! All you Coheed and Cambria fans know what I'm talking about. Our original songs tend to lean towards metal and punk, but they have a range almost as broad as our covers. We've played at the Waukesha BotB, the Musicians United for Charity (M.U.C.) show in Waukesha, the Pewaukee BotB, Taste of Summer, the Waukesha Park and Rec Jam, and a few of our own little parties.

So far the musicians in our band at present have been the only solid members. We've gone through three singers (and a bassist and a guitarist), and none last long. WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A NEW SINGER IN THE WAUKESHA AREA. Ideally with experience and the ability to play rhythm guitar. If you can scream, all the better. To contact us about joining, send an e-mail to Archetype_Project@yahoo.com.

If you like what you hear, or have seen us before and enjoyed the show, we're open for hire. We'll play for private parties or public shows. Contact us to schedule a show at the above email.

Also check out Sunrise at Dusk, one of our side projects.

Kid, You'll Move Mountains. They were featured in the Shep just three weeks before the show, and the guy that wrote the article on them was a judge on our day. We never stood a chance. They also won on the 23rd. Score one for crap Pop/Indie-Rock.

Way to give it a go, even being a few members shy.

Don't know if you went out there yesterday or have been there before, but the bandshell at Washington Park is friggin' huge. Place could probably hold a 1000 people. The directions that Jonas gave are spot on, the first right he refers to off of US-41 that he calls a driveway is actually N 45th St. Should be an awesome time, see you all next Saturday!

There are lots of posters around South for the BOTB, with some of band names on it. I found yours, and they left they forgot the first "e" in "Archetype". What losers. Good luck this weekend, sorry I won't be there. I'll be in Door County.
