First of all, let’s talk about the glasses.
Why do you wear the shades?
To look cool?
Are they prescription?
Are you blind?
And from there, the questions get plain stupid.
The glasses came later in my career when playing in front of audiences with an agenda other than listening to music. When you’ve played for as long as I have, seeing an audience watch you sweat is no fun. So, I decided to concentrate on the music.
After all, the only thing you have in common with the audience is music
so why not concentrate on that?
So I closed my eyes behind my sun glasses and put all the energy towards the music.
When I opened my eyes, I realized that I always play better in the dark.
So I’ve played the best I ever have since then.
“I don’t plan to change the world, but I think I can show you a good time… enjoy!”

Performing in Holland where the sun never sets.
Arch has performed for Presidents, Governors & Mayors around the world!
He “entertained” the Russian Navy in New Zealand.
It’s been rumored that Arch has played for The Queen of England.
When the reality is he’s played for a bunch of Queens!
Arch has opened for Charlie Musslewhite, Dr. Hook & The Young Dubliners
But with all that said, Arch plays to you.
No Matter “Who You Are”.
Arch performs just for you.
