Archie is a pop punk rock band from the christian punk rock capitol of the world, Lexington, NC. They climbed through the ranks of the Christian punk scene in the massive town and finally reached the top.
Actually, Archie is from a little town with little interest in punk rock but lots of interest in Barbecue. We have been a band (officially) for around two and a half years, but the members of the band have been friends for a very long time. Archie is made up of (in no particular order)...Ben Scoggin (vocals, guitar), Michael Scoggin (Bass, BGV's), Justin Sams (Girl hair, guitar, and BGV's), Adam Huntley (Drums), Kevin Scoggin (Synth, Sax, Percussion, BGV's). We recently recorded our first official EP with the producer Ric Rodriguez. We have begun to purchase merchanise and hope you will buy it, because it is all so clever and witty. There is an historic event upcoming at the prestigious Andy Griffith Playhouse in Mount Airy ("Mayberry"), NC. It will be the venue's 1st Appalachian Rock show, and seats are only $5, with proceeds going to www.AllSouthernRock.com internet radio.
