Just recently, Reggie, Jughead and I were talking about how much fun we used to have when The Archies would get together and jam. I thought it would be a gas to pull out our instruments and work out some new songs. Jughead told me that he was hanging out at the burger shop (big surprise, right?) and overheard Betty and Veronica singing Christmas songs - he couldn't believe how great their voices sounded together! Less than a week later, we were rehearsing the songs in our garage, and Mr. Weatherbee drives by and tells us that he wants us to play the Riverdale High Christmas Dance! We got so excited that we even wrote two brand-new songs for the occasion.
Miss Grundy says it's "kismet," but I know that it's just the magic of Christmas.
