Bio:

Architecture Records is a record label based in New York City that focuses upon all elements of electronic music.


Our artist roster includes and has included the following artists:

Bomb 20, Christ Analogue, Contra, Fragment King, The Heartworm, Rough Robot, SMP, and more.


Our first release under the Architecture imprint in 2006 was by Chicago's finest, Christ Analogue. Having released highly-acclaimed albums on Re-Constriction and Flagrant Records, we were extremely pleased to release their long-awaited return from 2003's Everyday is Distortion with an accompanying remix album. The Bitcrusher Remixes [ARR001CD] featured a broad range of talent, including Sister Machine Gun, SMP, De-Fragmentation, Monstrum Sepsis, Shok, Headaque, PTI, and more. Released in 2006, the album garnished excellent reviews for our label debut.

Our second release, Rough Robot's Check the Rack landed in late 2006 and mixes both female and sampled vocals, eclectic beats, and a sound that will make the dancefloor come alive. You may hear sound clips at both www.myspace.com/roughrobot and www.purevolume.com/roughrobot.

In 2007 we distributed a compilation courtesy of Static Drum Sounds. The compilation features artists such as 601, Jondus, and Citric among others. The album is now distributed through Digital Hardcore Recordings.

Sounds Like:

While the label specializes and focuses upon all genres of electronic music, we are unable to categorize ourselves in terms of what we sound like. However, the label is influenced by many of today's electronic music formats and promises that each release will have its own distinct sound.
