   關於 The Archives
Bill Butler currently a resident of Lincoln Park, Bill has played in just about every club in the Metro Detroit/Downriver Area including Cobo Hall. His skill as a musician has taken him to some hottest music venues all over the US. Past local bands include "Willie and the Whitewalls", "The Midnight Rockers", and "Knockout". Bill was also an original member of the local band "The Killer Flamingos". A versatile musician, when he's not playing music, Bill has his own photography business. Ken Rayba a resident of Lincoln Park, Ken has played in the Downriver area for over 25 years. Ken started out locally with a band called "Gary Knight and Three's Country" doing popular country music. He then went on to play with such bands as "Tammy and The Runaways", "Larry and The Lounge Lizzards", "The Mixx Band", and "Vocal Point". Fast Eddie currently resides in Allen Park. Ed has been playing the Downriver music circuit for over 25 years. You may have seen him with country music acts such as "Twin Silver Line" and "Johnnie Dee and The Mystery Train". Ed has also been in some popular "variety" bands Downrivers such as "Trivia", "The Sierra Band", "The Classix", "Cruisin 57", "The Lounge Lizzards" and "The Mixx Band". Slick Rick Stone resides in Belleville. Rick has also been playing in the Downriver music circuit for over 25 years. Rick has been such bands as "Cruizin 57", and "The Classix". Rick's musical talent as a bass player and vocalist has been a real asset to "The Archives". You can see that all of us have known each other and have played in bands with each other over the years. Bringing our combined talents together is what makes "The Archives" a great oldies and classic rock band. You can contact "The Archives" at: kenrayba@yahoo.com

Had a Great time at Fund Raiser. Glad to see Donna , Harold's wife and Family. Shed some tears - I know it is a rough to go through this from recent experiences. Donna looked Great!! Glad I got to give her and her sons somes hugs. I'll miss Harold too , he was always great to me - the only Saxaphone player I ever played with in a band ( Renegades ) .
Dale Morrison said playing with Harold & Sugar Ray in the Classic 57 Band at The American Legion was some of the best times he ever had. Dale had a great time too, he was overwhelmed by Kenny Rayba's guitar playing- really clean great lead player.
Everyone sounded great!! Johni Dee stills sounds great, it was nice seeing him and and everyone else ... Sugar Ray done a great job with the raffles - I'll always remember him when he was real young...his family done a great job too. It's really nice everyone pitching in for this - it really touched me. We should continue and keep in touch with Donna ....
Maybe we should do a benefit once every other month for a living band member who is going through some tough times finacially or etc.... the Lord loves a cheerful giver..a friend in need is a friend indeed. We have to look past our indifferences and unite , put our ego's aside and humble ourselfs for Christ sake.
One thing I know about musicians we are sensitive and have to keep heads from getting too big

Come on fella's , I can't remember everything.
There will be a benefit Fundraiser for a long time local sax player, Harold Poddom who is terminally ill.  It will be held on Sunday, November 1st at The American Legion Post 200 in Taylor, MI.  The Legion is located at 11800 Michael which is off of Brest Rd and Telegraph.  The activities will take place in the Lounge area of the club, which is located in the back of the buildling.  You can contact them for more information at: 734.946.5398!
There will be a Mostacolli dinner starting at 2PM, which will run during the afternoon.  There will be a cash bar, 50/50 drawing, & gift baskets.  Entertainment is scheduled beginning at 4PM.  If there are any musicians who would like to come and play a few tunes, that would be great!
Thanks for reading!

FUND RAISER - Hope to come by and support my muscian friend.
HOT LIPS HAROLD PODDEM. Heck I don't if I spelled his name proper.
Hope to see my friends at AMERICAN LEGION POST 200
11800 MICHEAL STREET TAYLOR MI 48180
I remember Harold would sound GREAT!!! when he hit them high notes on
"Don't let the Sun catch you Crying" - he done a great job managing The Renegades.
It hurts to hear of one of my fellow musician friends in distress. My Prayers go out to "Donna". As Christians we should always take care of Widows . so anything I can do I will to help with expenses etc....Mr Zug Island Blues
