Arch Stanton in their many masterful rock adventures of the recent past have, at times, taken a few steps back to brew their craft into a perfect gravity and flavor. But now it seems, they are back in the forefront.
What started in one form as a high school garage... or in their case a "living room" band, finds itself now in a steady pursuit of musical expression. In 2000 Arch's sophomore self-titled album launched them into the Minneapolis scene as a pack of kids sporting suits and shaggy heads, strumming and screaming manic powerpop anthems.
After a few brakes, a few shows, and many songs later, they took an excursion from their home base in Minneapolis to the warm Santa Monica sun. Only to come back with an eclectic mix of memorable tunes featured in their new EP "Highland & Marine".

OK. So I just found out that your show at the Turf Club was earlier tonight. So, I will not make it (obviously). Reply to posts a bit sooner and I will try to bring friends. Seriously. I will. I promise. I bring dozens of people with me... Just ask PARACHUTES FAIL...
The songs sound great! Happy to hear that you guys are still banging away. I'm gonna have to try to make it out to your Turf Club show. Do you know what the ticket cost will be?

Hello sweet Arch boys! This is a formal invite from me to you, inviting you to a very special CD Release show for my new album, "Blessing" - Sat, 10/20 at Clubhouse Jager! I hope you can make it down - I'd love to see you guys!
The new EP is brilliant! The production, lyrics, and arrangements are nothing short of amazing. Brian, your falsetto is killer! Love the synth, guitars, everything. I love the guitar tone on Through The Motions. I love it, and continue to be impressed by everything you guys do. Thanks so much for being a band and sharing your music with us. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys live again before I die. Good luck with everything! You definitely deserve any success you happen to achieve.
Happy hump day from Cities Live! Hope you can tune in to the show this Sunday! If you have any requests or comments please feel free to leave us a voice comment so we can play it on the air.
Arched Stanton, thank you for existing. Now play music. Play it hard, and play it well. And do a show in Portland, Oregon...or in the TC when I'm back home in town. Word.
