Allan James - musician / composer / producer. Vocals, guitars and keyboards. Allan James started the band "arc of light". He has released 4 albums under the name arc of light. The 5th CD is currently being recorded in 2011. At the age of 8 Allan was already writing songs, playing for schools, recitals, parties and recording his own songs. By the time Allan was 15, he lived in Iceland where he performed on his own guitar TV show, called the "Guitar Sounds of Allan James". He then also played on Icelandic TV variety shows with the most popular rock band in Iceland and performed in several colleges and other large events. When he came back to the United States and settled back into Virginia, he began the band "Arc of Light" and started recording some of the 1st albums. Allan has been on TV, Radio, and has performed at concerts, festivals, colleges, and other venues from Iceland to Montana, to California to the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia areas. Allan also has always been interested and has used leading edge technology to get his music and songs out to the world. As more multimedia has merged with the internet, Allan immediately got on board and started using videos on the web, webcasting and using the power of the internet to communicate and get new fans from around the world. Today that is becoming the norm, but not too long ago, only a handful of non-signed musicians were taking advantage of all this technology. Now Allan often performs on webcasts from his studio to audiences around the world and he has several websites, web TV, YouTube, and other sites that promote his music. Allan is currently writing new songs and music for upcoming 3D animations projects, Videos, websites, commercials, performing on live webcasts, producing new CDs. Allan has also been involved in several creative music and web projects that helped different charities. He especially has focused on helping children related charities. One song called "Christmas Child" has had all sales go to charities. Christmas Child was released Dec 2010. Allan has several thousand fans around the world who listen to his music on internet radio, and they have sent wonderful comments and positive feedback. Allan's songs and music has touched so many people around the world! -
