I like mostly classical music as well as different kinds of traditional indigenous music. Of course I listen to Native American Flute music, as well as other flutes. I like chinese flute as well, and play sometimes on my hulusi, when I am not playing recorder or NAF.
Another kind of music I enjoy very much is yoik, the traditional chant of the Sámi people, as well as different kinds of native N Am music. And a lot more of indigenous music as well.
My name is Gerard Willemsen. Come from the Netherlands but live in north Sweden since many years. Just now in Giron (Kiruna).
I have played the recorder since a long time, but discovered the Native American Flute (NAF) rather recently. It has quickly become a favorite. I do not consider myself a musician by any means. I just like listenening and playing. The NAF somehow fits to the arctic landscape in Sápmi, Lapland. This page is just to give you some idea - I have no advanced technical recording possibilities.
This page is a means to get into contact with others who enjoy similar music (or maybe quite other music as well).

Every time that we listen & write music... play an instrument... sing & dance... act in a play... or work in some audio/image/video engineering process... something is healing inside...
