Who are we?
Arctic Moon Studios is an entertainment company specializing in online gaming. We also offer website design services for small companies or those just interested in creating a simple personal website. Online games are the bulk of our company. Our games are designed with the player in mind. They appeal to a variety of gaming styles so check out our games section and choose the game designed for you.
Our History
Arctic Moon Studios is the collaboration between co-founders Matt Reyes and Mike Voit. Matt and Mike met in September of 2004 through work. Soon after Mike learned that Matt knew a little about web design and programming, so he approached Matt with an idea for a game. By late 2006, the duo had released their first game, "Bloodletting." Mike became the creative partner with his great ideas and Matt became the "know how" with his design and programming experience.
Shortly after the release of Bloodletting, Mike met Rob Knight. The two met through a local theater group where Mike told Rob about this new game he and Matt had created. Rob logged in and instantly fell in love with the game. Over time, Rob's passion for the game grew to an administrative support role and later he became a member of the Bloodletting development team providing invaluable design and programming experience.
After the success of Bloodletting, Matt and Mike decided it was time to expand their ideas into future games. However, the two knew that development of new projects would go much smoother if there was at least one more member on the team. Prior to establishing the company, Mike and Matt decided to bring in that third partner. Their obvious choice was their friend and fellow coder Rob. With this, in January 2008, Arctic Moon Studios was created.
Currently Arctic Moon Studios is busy designing three new games as well as designing a customizable card game based on Bloodletting. We are also in the development of two board games. More games and ideas are sure to follow as the creative juices are pouring out of their heads as you read this.
Bloodletting
The flagship game for Arctic Moon Studios, Bloodletting is based on the simple premise that if you write it...they will come. Bloodletting was designed for those who truly enjoy role-play in a texted-based format and for those who love to write. Once you register you can create one of five characters (Vampire, Slayer, Witch, Werewolf or Angel). Being that active role-play is our focus, most points are gained through role-playing in the different forums within the game. If you like a good role-play, but don't want to be very active in the forums, then there are other methods to gain points and rank. There are cities to be searched, crimes to be committed, dungeons to break out of, and death to be dealt! Check it out at www.bloodletting.org and join in on the fun!
Bloodletting - Damnation
Bloodletting Damnation is the newest version of our hit game Bloodletting. However, it is nothing like the original. Damnation has a completely different design, interface and role-play concept which caters to both forum-based role-players and those who enjoy a little chaos. Unlike Bloodletting, each attack on another character will end in someone's death. There are also a number of other changes from the original Bloodletting so come and check it out. You won't be disappointed! ~ Coming in early 2008!
Minion Battles
Spawned from a popular feature found in the original Bloodletting, Minion Battles is a non-stop adventure. Fight other Minions in the Battle Arenas or hone your skills against the many NPCs that are awaiting your arrival. Choose from six different races and battle your way to the top to become the true champion of Minions. You will also be able to perform searches throughout the various lands within the game to gain money or battle creatures to better train for the arena. You can also enter dungeons to prove your worth and gain untold riches to aid you in your fight to be the top Minion of the land. ~ Coming in early 2008!
