MySpace a place for friends

In search of a medium, I have been a singer, musician, dancer, actor and an artist...then I found words. And in a very short time, I realized that I'm not quite sane unless I'm writing.

First, last and always, I'm a story teller.

(As a reporter/producer in broadcast news I loved video editing. I express my love of imagery through photography.
I'm a native Las Vegan and the number one fan of Las Vegas artist, Danny Roberts. We have a gallery downtown in the Art's district: DAMNED INK STUDIOS. I manage the gallery, shoot, edit and produce the poster prints of his art. Links to him are further down...) My last journalistic stint was as a feature reporter/photographer on the Arts beat for Stok'd magazine before it died and went to alternative magazine heaven. First Friday
(A picture I took when Danny was showing at TAO nightclub in the Venetian. I didn't photoshop it except to pop the color a bit. The delayed shutter speed was just enough to create movement without obliterating the Shiva statue. A fun picture to create.)

MY INHERITANCE is witchcraft. I was initiated into a Hereditary Tradition at the age of 13 and have pretty much been in the broom-closet ever since. As (AKA)Ardriana Cahill, I have been writing for the past four years what will eventually be six books. The books will publish under the series title *Legacy* with subtitles refering to the content specifically.

~*~Book One subtitled "Polishing the Mirror" answers questions about how to identify the witch within you. It is at the proofreader as I type this and I'm now shopping a publisher.
~*~Book Two is subtitled "Stiring the Cauldron" and answers questions about Magick.
~*~Book Three is subtitled "Emptying the Chalice" and answers questions about previous religious training mixing with new philosophies for ill and good.
~*~Book Four is subtitled "Clearing the Lines" and answers all the big questions about pagan spirituality.
~*~Book Five is subtitled "Living the Magick" and answers questions about the smallest expressions of life as a witch and viewing the world through a creative lens.
~*~Book Six is subtitled "Raising a Magickal Child" and answers questions with practical tools to prepare your child to understand the pagan life view of a witch.

MY ADDICTION is dark fiction. Evidence of my darker side can be found in angry prose, dark fiction and scathing editorials by hitting the banner below. This site has been largly ignored for the past several years, however, the book of short stories is still on the back burner. When I can steal the time, I write my dark side just to keep my gray-matter, pink!

MY PASSION is for Las Vegas artist Danny Roberts who's been showing for the past four years in the Vegas Arts District at The Art's Factory. He also shows at Mark Zeilman's MTZC studio.
