Me? I’m extremely eclectic, open minded and hard to pin a label on. I have varied interests and stay pretty busy. On any given weekend, you’ll probably find my out in my kayak, enjoying nature and getting away from the corporate jungle. I also work with a local greyhound adoption group and have one of these great dogs myself. We’ve all heard about the things that go bump in the night, well I bump back. I have been interested in what is typically called the paranormal ever since I was a little kid. Now as an adult, I am amazed at how interest in this subject has grown and how you can’t turn the TV on without catching a show on paranormal topics on the History, Discovery, TLC or Travel channels. On Sci-Fi you can catch the best one out there, "Ghost Hunters". I guess we can thank the X-Files for blowing a large hole in the media wall! I still think most Americans are asleep at the wheel and more worried over who gets voted off American Idol than what is going on in the world, be it paranormal or not. Me, well the blinders are off. I take a scientific, skeptical approach to things and am not easily swayed. When you wade through all the stories, accounts, etc. of strange events and you are left with something that blows your concepts of your world away, it’s an amazing revelation. I love to go places that have a “haunted” past. I have been from Point Pleasant, WV to the border of Area 51. I’m a big history buff too, and love to visit historical sites, especially Colonial era ones (I love Williamsburg, VA). Lighthouses are a favorite too, there’s just something about them.
