About Arenal

Arenal is the youngest and most active volcano in Costa Rica. Continuous daily eruptions began in 1968, five years after John F. Kennedy visited during the eruption of the Irazu volcano. Arenal's most recent eruption was on April 20, 2006, with major lava flow down the West and most active side of the volcano. A pyroplastic eruption followed on May 9th, 2006.

Arenal is also a dude with a keyboard, a laptop and a guitar making some noise, singing about being lost and disoriented in jungles.
