Once upon a time there was a boy called Valerio who played bass guitar, he had many ideas to express and he put his own trust in music capacity to change the world. That's why he had good prospect in the Unemployment field. One day he decided to share his crazy idea to form a rock band with other musicians crazy enough to accept. After a tour of the asylums of the province of Naples, he found the right people. Victor D. and Valerio had known each other for some time when the latter decided to take his straitjacket and play together. The band had a bassist / singer and a drummer. After a test was immediately obvious that something was missing. So it was that the guitarist / singer Victor R. joined the band, cousin of the drummer (although the relationship he has not been recommended, one of the rare cases in Italy). But in the rehearsal room there was still plenty of free space, and the group decided to place a plant there. Soon after it was replaced with a friend of Valerio, the keyboardist Giuseppe who, unlike the plant, is useful to the group and he doesnt need photosynthesis (no plant was mistreated during the construction of this group).

During 2011 the band published its first album "areph" with 11 tracks and the band joined contests and events such as Tour Music Fest, Boomker (Fano), Artimusica (2°place), MEI (Faenza), and "Senza Etichetta" Ciriè (TO) where they won, M° Mogol jury chief.

In 2012 Giuseppe Paribello left the band and so the "never forgotten" plant joined again. Anyway, after a while, because of several artistic disagreement, Piero Castiglione (keyboards) took its place, looking for a new sound for Areph. In 2013 Areph published the EP "Turn" with 4 tracks.

C'era una volta un ragazzo (e c'è ancora, grazie a Dio. . .) di nome Valerio che suonava il basso elettrico, con molte cose da dire e tanta fiducia nella capacità della musica di poter cambiare le cose. Erano quindi evidenti le buone prospettive nel mondo della disoccupazione. Un bel giorno decise di condividere la sua folle idea di mettere su una rock-band con altri musicisti abbastanza pazzi da accettare. Dopo aver fatto un giro per i manicomi della provincia di Napoli, trovò le persone adatte. Vittorio D. e Valerio si conoscevano già da tempo quando quest'ultimo decise di togliergli la camicia di forza e suonare insieme. Il gruppo aveva un bassista/cantante e un batterista. Dopo qualche prova fu subito evidente che mancava qualcosa. Fu così che entrò nel gruppo il chitarrista/cantante Vittorio R., cugino del batterista (nonostante la parentela non è stato raccomandato, uno dei rari casi in Italia). Ma nella sala prove c'era ancora molto spazio libero, e il gruppo decise di metterci una pianta. Subito dopo fu sostituita da un amico di Valerio, il tastierista Giuseppe che, a differenza della pianta, si rendeva utile al gruppo e non faceva la fotosintesi (nessun vegetale è stato maltrattato durante la costruzione di questo gruppo).

Nel 2011, dopo aver pubblicato l'album d'esordio "Areph" con 11 brani, partecipano a vari concorsi ed eventi musicali come il Tour Music Fest, Boomker (Fano), Artimusica (arrivando secondi), MEI (Faenza), e "Senza Etichetta" a Ciriè (TO) con presidente di giuria il M° Mogol, dove si aggiudicano il primo posto.

Nel 2012 Giuseppe Paribello lascia la band per far di nuovo posto alla pianta (mai dimenticata dalla band). Tuttavia, per divergenze artistiche con la pianta, decisero di contattare Piero Castiglione (tastiere), alla ricerca di un nuovo sound. Nel 2013 pubblicano l'EP "Turn" contenente 4 brani inediti.
