Hello!! On Wednesday 13th June I am playing upstairs at CB2 in Cambridge. This venue is just lovely and does fantastic food and (unlike one upstairs gig I’ve played recently) the sound is good in there too. Performing sets on the same night will be Belinda Gillet, Debs Warren, Tom Van Eyker, and Mr Christopher, all of whom are definitely worth seeing and cover a wide spectrum of acoustic song writing styles. The first artist will be on at 8.30pm, but as it’s a foody place you can turn up before then. No need for tickets- just pay upstairs (I think its usually 3 or 4 pounds to get in at CB2)
On June 16th I will be playing a garden party at The Rose and Crown in Stansted Mountfitchet. Kicking off the first of two sets at 1.30pm, this is a charity event in aid of the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity. Tickets are £10 which includes a ‘Hog Roast’ and welcome drink. The flyer says to wear pink items of clothing with a prize for the best pink outfit!! Take care, Al.
