About me:

My name is Aria Blaze. I'm a damn Yankee who relocated south of the Mason-Dixon Line to New Orleans just prior to Hurricane Katrina. July 2005. Yeah, that was great timing! But I love my adopted hometown and I'll never leave it. I'm a musician myself (acoustic guitar) and a daydreamer, who works in A&R at a small but mighty indie label here in the land of JazzFest and Mardi Gras. I wouldn't trade my life here for anything in the world.

Who I'd like to meet:

Other gypsies, tramps and thieves.... artists, musicians, and anyone who hangs out regularly in the Lower Quarter, which I call home. And I'm always on the lookout for the next musician/band that the label I work for might want to sign. Got a demo? Or a gig schedule? I will do my best to come check out a gig if I like your tracks. (DISCLAIMER: We only make deals via the artist's legitimate representative, for legal reasons, so please make sure your demo/press kit has a contact # for your manager or publicist or attorney or other such business person. We will verify your Rep is legit before proceeding! Too many phonies and wanna-be's in this industry and it's an expensive hassle down the line.)

    Aria, thank you for the sweets comments on my pics...I have been meaning to Thank you for the invite to I believe it was the BMC or one of those clubs in the quarter....it was my first year in 8 years that I didnt make it there and let me tell you I had such melancholy!! I really really want to meet you ...so I think thatwe are goingto try to make it there in the beginning of the year...any suggestions on when we should come...but no Mardi Gras...(not really interested in huge crowds like that..Halloween is more my thing) I also heard that you guys have some sort of Pirate festival...if so do you know when that is???
