Hello there everyone, we changed the outfit a little bit once again ; Great news finally!! we managed to finish the recordings of our very first EP under the name "The yellow brick road" somewhat Elthon Jhon inspirated, the music itself is a lot heavier of course!!.
We have an AWESOME line - up on the record featuring some of the most talented female singer in the rock bussines (of our country ;)) sharing vocals duties , choruses and stuff!! this is going to be the track listing :

The History so far... Early Days Aria was in the very beggining a side-project of Adrian (guitar) he was composing enough material to create another band on his own by the end of 2005...,then in the beggining of 2006 he parted ways with his former band mates and decided to give Aria the "get go" , ever since some tracks were recorded on a demo tape at Adrian..s House (A.K.A the Opera House), the process took a long year! When the whole concept was ready, the musicians where invited, in march 2007 we started reherasing, the first incarnation of Aria featured Sybill on vocals, Adriankeyboards, Humberto on the bass, Dan on guitars and Fred on Drums, this line up only lasted for like 3 months or so... In August 2007 Dan and Fred decided to leave,so by the end of SeptemberRobert (a.k.a "Anguila") became part of the band playing drums and Adrianquit playing keyboards (thanks god!)and was back on track with the guitars, so, as a four piece band the songs where rehearsed and they recorded the first demo "The Mirror" at Lemon Pie Studios, a very well know studio in Venezuela and South America, then mixed the songs at 1301 Studios with Anibal Vargas The Mirror demo was released at the first gig of the band in Febreaury 2008 (some copies are roaming out there!!) and was mainly distributed around the net, reaching No 9 at the famous www.ursession.com. Shortly after the band decided that the direction of the band wasnt right and decided to work the songs with another vocalists, by April 2008 Sybill and the band parted ways in friendly terms and the search was on.
We did some auditions and some of our friends happened to came to the auditions, including Alejandra and Jackeline who didnt make it for the band for whatever reason it was at that time, in the end by October 2008 it was clear that we needed another direction...and we came up with this idea! Since the songs were there and down the road we had the chance to meet a lot of the best female singers in the bussines, we ask them to sing in the album to see what happens,... and there you go!!, they liked the idea and sang of the record, seemingly nobody has done this before an Opera Rock (dont take that seriously please!) with an all female singers and of course....the guys rocking!!

Saludos a todos!! como verán el perfil tiene nueva imagen! BUENAS NOTICIAS POR FIN!!, hace unas semanas terminamos nuestro primer EP bajo el nombre de "The Yellow Brick Road" tenemos una alineacion impresionante en el disco, logramos reunir a varias de las mejores vocalista de la escena local , compartiendo los temas, coros, etc!, aqui les dejamos el track list:

en algunos dias estaremos montando "samples" del disco , mientras pueden chequear las fotos del intenso & eterno proceso de grabacion del disco, rock on !
La Historia hasta ahora... Primeros Dias
<Aria empezo como una proyecto a finales de 2005 cuando Adrian(guitarra/teclados) tenia algunas canciones suficientes como para empezar una banda por su cuenta (en ese entonces tocaba con otra banda) , el proyecto quedo engavetado; hasta que por problemas internos Adrian se retira y decide trabajar en Aria algunos temas fueron grabados en su casa (A.K.A the Opera House), este proceso tomo un año bien largo!
Cuando el concepto estuvo listo se invito a los musicos en Marzo de 2007, la primera alineacion contaba con Sybill vocales, Adrian Teclados, Humberto bajo, Dan guitarras y Fred en la bateria,ensayamos los primeros temas con esta alineacion que duro alrededor de tres meses The Mirror demo Dan y Fred decidieron dejar la banda, asi que para finales de SeptiembreRobert (a.k.a "Anguila") forma parte de la banda en la bateria y Adriandejo los teclados (gracias a dios!!)y volvio a las labores de guitarrista, asi, con cuatro integrantes se siguieron montando los temas y se grabo el primer demo "The Mirror" en Lemon Pie Studios (o Rock and Folk , es ahi mismo), un conocido estudio Venezuela y Sur America, luego se mezclaron los temas en 1301 estudios con Anibal Vargas
El demoThe Mirror "Lanzado" en el primer toque de la banda en Febrero de 2008 (algunas copias andan rodando por ahi) y fue mayormente distribuido por internet,alcanzando un No 9 en la famosa www.ursession.com. Cambiando Direcciones
Poco despues la banda decidio que no estaban en el camino que querian, asi que trataron de cambiar las canciones con otras vocalistas, para Abril de 2008 Sybill y la banda se separaron en terminos amistosos y empezo la busqueda.
Hicimos algunas audiciones y algunas de nuestras amigas vinieron a ellas, incluyendo a Alejandra & Jackeline que no se quedaron en la banda por alguna razon, a finales de Octubre de 2008 estaba claro que necesitabamos una idea...y aparecio! The Yellow Brick Road
Las canciones estaban listas , y ya que tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer a varias de las mejores vocalistas en la escena local les preguntamos si querian grabar algunos temas para el EP, y listo!, les gusto le idea!! aparentemente nadie a hecho algo parecido antes una Opera Rock ( no se lo tomen tan en serio, por favor!) con varias chicas y por supuesto, los panas rockeando!
