    Singer Songwriter Aria Johnson was born a musician. Her career started while performing in church at age 5, song writing by 12, professionally touring by 15, and now in 2010, she has been recognized by being awarded the World Music and Dance Award for “Best Indie Artist”. Aria has worked with David Foster, opened for Ludacris, sang for thousands at The Staples Center, and has received over three and a half million plays from her fifty thousand registered fans on Myspace. In 2009 Aria received a Billboard Award for Song Of The Year. The track came from her full-length debut Indie album, which Aria wrote, and co-produced. Aria’s newest single “Something’s Up Tonight”, is currently Canada’s Top Dance Pick, Best Dance Breakout Song 2010 as well as making Top 10 in Canada’s radio charts. In 2010, Aria also co-starred in The Style Network’s hit show “How Do I Look?” Aria’s music has played on MTV, NBC, CBS, UPN, The CW, iTunes, The Miss America Competition and her song “Beauty” was featured on the hit show, “America’s Next Top Model”. Aria has also written for the artist ‘Hope’ on a song that was critically acclaimed and published by Atlantic Records. Originally from San Francisco Aria moved to Venice beach where she developed as an artist, giving up everything for the love of music. “I almost lost myself but music saved my life”, says Aria, “I’ve spent time ‘dancing with the devil’ for the love of my art, but when I perform I know what it means to be truly alive.” Aria lives and breathes the business of music, constantly exploring new avenues of style and sound. Aria’s inspiration bleeds from life, love, and pain and her soul is bared to the audience through the absolute beauty of her voice.
